I was born at Coniston Station. My father was a stockman for a very long time. We moved to Mt Allan when it was a community, after it stopped being a station. I grew my children up at Mt Allan but I had them at Alice Springs Hospital. Now I live at Larapinta Town Camp. I came here in 2005 to be near my children. Now I sew even though this is the first time I ever sewed. I am Anmatyerr. I can see that that needle pulls all my wool through, I keep that needle moving. I have pain in my legs but I can keep my needle moving so I can keep sewing.
